D. Scott Wiggins has had a dual career as an attorney and as a senior-level administrator in elementary and secondary independent schools in New England and the South. Scott stepped away from education in 2018 and now focuses exclusively on the practice of law. Scott’s legal interests and expertise span many fields and he is especially versed in criminal and school law.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Boston University in 1977 and his juris doctorate degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University in 1988. Scott began his legal career practicing patent, trademark, and copyright law with the Philadelphia firm of Synnestvedt & Lechner LLP. He has also served as an assistant district attorney in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Scott is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Colorado. His admission to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
