Beverly (Bev) a lifelong resident of Flint Michigan, graduate cum laude from the University of Chicago with a degree in Culinary Services. Bev decided to stay in her hometown and open a Restaurant that the entire City of Flint remembers, Beverly’s. Beverly’s was open for business when the Flint Water Crisis took place and caused her to shut down for good. Bev wasn’t satisfied with that so, in addition to her community service work with residents and seniors, she started a new Restaurant which is located in the Fellowship Hall ofMt. Carmel, Flint Michigan.
When not cooking or working in the community, Bev enjoys being a great grandmother and teaching her grandchildren what it is to be a great spiritual person.
